Mike Trout, considered among many baseball fans to be the best all around player in baseball future face of MLB, and the Angels are discussing a $150 million dollar extension according to www.mlbtraderumors.com. Jeff Passan of Yahoo Sports reports that the deal would buy out two free agent seasons and allow Trout to become a free agent at age 28. Trout is represented by LSW Baseball.
On behalf of Angel fans everywhere I say a cautious yahoo! Please Arte Moreno, make this happen. I know you're previous big free agents signings haven't panned out yet (Pujols and Hamilton) but all will mostly be forgiven if you can pull the trigger.
